## Description

OTLV-Mattsee is an Austrian association dedicated to preserving and sharing historic tractors, agricultural machinery, and equipment. Founded in 2003 in Mattsee, near Salzburg, it grew from a group of enthusiasts who began acquiring and restoring vintage tractors in 1995. The collection includes tractors dating from 1938 onward, as well as stationary engines, trailers, a field kitchen, a horse-powered Göppel, threshing equipment, ploughs, hay wagons, and other farming tools.

The association restores and maintains its machines in working condition, then presents them to the public at local festivals, parades, and vintage vehicle gatherings in Austria and abroad. Members also demonstrate traditional agricultural practices, including threshing rye and operating the more than 150-year-old horse Göppel, helping visitors and schoolchildren learn about earlier farming life. OTLV-Mattsee shares event news and photographs on its website and welcomes enquiries through its contact page. Its activities are sustained by members’ enthusiasm, curiosity, and commitment to keeping agricultural heritage accessible to the community.
