## Description

Otos is an independent skateboarding brand and creative project from Jyväskylä, Finland, founded by an original team of skateboarders. Active since 2002, Otos brings together skateboarding, filmmaking, and skateboard design, with a history documented through its movies and board archive. Its films include Otos, Ensimmäinen Otos, Varovasti!, Konna&Kumppanit, Pommi Pesään, Kovaa Peliä Bostonissa, Syntax Error, Hullun Letkee, Viimeinen Otos, Brand The Brand, and Legalize Tenting. These releases span from 2002 to 2017 and reflect the project’s long-running connection to skate culture. Otos also offers skateboard decks, with designs catalogued from 2016 through 2024, including collections such as Mushroom, JKL, Sunset, forest, island, and VMOT. The brand invites supporters to help sustain the project by purchasing a VMOT deck, available through Liike22. With its Finnish roots, evolving board graphics, and decades of skateboarding films, Otos presents a distinctive record of local skateboarding and creative expression.
