## Description

Oulie is a reading and book-tracking service designed to make reading more social. It gives readers a personal shelf to organize books they are reading, have finished, or plan to read, and lets them record progress by pages, minutes, or percentage. Readers can also discover books and authors, save titles for later, write reviews, rate books, and mark spoilers.

For groups of friends, Oulie supports shared reading from choosing a book to celebrating the final page. Members can create a group shelf, select a title, set a schedule and checkpoints, invite others, and follow each person’s progress against the plan. Checkpoint comments, live group chats, private messages, shared calendars, and book-list sharing help keep conversations and plans together. Groups can nominate titles and vote on what to read next.

Oulie also offers reading statistics, streaks, goals, XP, levels, and achievements to help users reflect on their habits and stay motivated. Privacy settings let members manage profile visibility, public stats, and chat access.
