Our Family Coalition is an organization that is dedicated to advancing equity for LGBTQ families and children through support, education, and advocacy. With over twenty years of experience, they provide community-building and support for LGBTQ+ families, prospective parents, youth, allies, community partners, and volunteers. They offer a wide range of programming, including informational workshops, support groups, outings, celebrations, and more in San Francisco and the East Bay. Their Education Team works with schools, teachers, administrators, and child-serving professionals to create more inclusive and welcoming environments for LGBTQ+ families and children. They also collaborate with California K-12 public schools to implement LGBTQ-inclusive history and social science curriculum. In addition to their support and education initiatives, Our Family Coalition is committed to advocating for increased visibility and equity for LGBTQ families. They work alongside local, state, and national partner organizations to advocate for family equality, inclusive schools, immigration reform, healthcare reform, and more.
