## Description

Our Honor is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports animal professionals who want to act according to their conscience and improve the treatment of animals. The organization works to connect animal advocacy with the veterinary profession, helping veterinarians and other professionals challenge systems of violence and speak out about practices they believe harm animals or public health. Our Honor highlights the pressures that can silence those who raise concerns, including bullying, retaliation, and lost career opportunities, and aims to ensure that advocates do not face these challenges alone.

Its work includes public campaigns, research, education, and opportunities for professional involvement. Visitors can join veterinary expert witness and animal relocation networks, participate in committees, support policy advocacy, and take action on issues such as puppy mills, declawing, snake enclosures, and ventilation shutdown. Our Honor also shares research, public records findings, surveys, practical resources, and RACE-approved continuing education. Through stories, events, outreach materials, and fundraising, the organization encourages collaboration and gives animal professionals ways to support more humane practices.
