# Our Living Outback - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `ourlivingoutback.org.au` ## Description Our Living Outback is an alliance of The Pew Charitable Trusts, Bush Heritage Australia and the Queensland Trust for Nature, working to support people and nature across Outback Queensland. The initiative highlights the region’s remarkable landscapes, wildlife and communities, and the importance of caring for the land. Outback Queensland spans about 1.1 million square kilometres, encompassing environments from Cape York’s tropical rainforests to Gulf Country savannas and the Channel Country’s floodplains. The alliance focuses attention on threats including feral animals, invasive weeds and destructive fires, and advocates for stronger support for conservation. Its work promotes Queensland’s Nature Refuge program, which enables landholders to protect natural and cultural values on their properties. The website offers information about nature refuges, conservation challenges and the people caring for country, alongside reports, news, media releases, videos and a photo book. It also shares perspectives from Indigenous and non-Indigenous landholders and communities. Through these resources, Our Living Outback encourages investment in people and nature and greater care for the landscapes that sustain Queensland’s wildlife and communities. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/ourlivingoutback) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/ourlivingoutback) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id211KmR02/w/964/h/510/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793482812987) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id211KmR02/w/673/h/673/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793482813187) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Hot Cinnamon | #d5641c | accent | | Nevada | #656d6f | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
