Our Sisters' School is a tuition-free, all-girls middle school located in New Bedford. Despite its religious-sounding name, the school is actually named after the courageous women of the city's history. Specifically, it pays tribute to the Sister Sailors who joined whaling expeditions in the early 1800s.
