# Our Social Fabric - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `oursocialfabric.ca` - **Founded:** 2009 - **Employees:** 2+ - **Location:** Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada - **Company kind:** NON PROFIT ## Description Our Social Fabric is a Canadian non-profit fabric store based in Vancouver, working to keep usable textiles and fibre arts supplies out of landfill. Since 2009, it has given donated deadstock materials a new life by making them available online and in person, helping make creative projects more affordable across Canada. The organization’s mission is to keep good materials in circulation, one piece at a time. Its shop offers a broad selection of fabrics, including woven and knit options, organic cottons, wool, natural fibres, home décor materials, and specialty fabrics for outerwear, lining, and other projects. Customers can also find sewing and craft supplies such as buttons, elastic, thread, zippers, patterns, bag-making materials, and mending kits. Online orders ship across Canada, and shoppers can visit the Vancouver store during its posted opening hours. Services include a cubby holding option for combining purchases across multiple drops. Beyond retail, Our Social Fabric invites donations and volunteers, supports community projects, and offers initiatives such as the Sew Fun(d) scholarship. ## Industries - 📊 Textiles _(under Business and Consumer Services)_ - 📊 Business and Consumer Services ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/oursocialfabric) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/oursocialfabric) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/oursocialfabric) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idOFa4cjeq/w/1937/h/367/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790897051716) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idOFa4cjeq/w/751/h/751/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790897051818) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Pear | #cadb2b | accent | | Aqua Deep | #005746 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Helvetica — asset _(custom)_ - Helvetica — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
