Outdoors at UVA is an exciting and dynamic student-run organization based in Charlottesville, VA, dedicated to helping students, alums, and community members explore the great outdoors. With over 800 active members, we are the largest Club on Grounds, offering a wide range of activities and experiences. Our mission is to inspire a lifelong love for the outdoors by breaking down barriers to entry and providing access to high-quality gear, transportation, unforgettable trips across the US, and vital skill-building and leadership opportunities.

We believe that adventure is for everyone, regardless of experience or skill level. From hiking and mountain biking to backpacking, kayaking, rock climbing, and more, we offer a diverse array of adventures to suit every interest. Our experienced members lead over 394 trips every year, ensuring you have a safe and enjoyable experience.
