## Description

Outliers Fund is a dynamic brand founded in 2016 by a team of research scientists, angel investors, and venture builders from MIT. They have positioned themselves as a leader in backing scientist-led ventures through scientific research and collective intelligence. Over the years, Outliers Fund has achieved remarkable success with their investment portfolios. Outliers Fund I (2016-2018) and Outliers Fund II (2018-2021) delivered impressive returns of 16x and 11x respectively. Their Outliers Lab has also played a crucial role in nurturing Web3 startups, incubating 10 companies that collectively raised over $100 million. Notably, two of these startups were acquired, and two are on the path to filing for an IPO. Currently, Outliers Fund III (2022-2026) is deployed on Ethereum through Syndicate, enabling all the benefits of a venture DAO while upholding the legitimate structure of GP / LP. This approach reflects their commitment to investing based on scientific research and collective intelligence, harnessing the power of their 100+ community members. With a dedicated team of professionals, including Founding Partner Poseidon Ho, and experienced leaders like David Chou, Vincent Lin, TY Shao, and Lei Shi, Outliers Fund continues to drive innovation, deliver remarkable results, and shape the future of investment in the technology sector.
