## Description

Outsideways is an online community and journaling platform for people who enjoy outdoor adventures. It helps members record and share their experiences with family, friends, and a wider audience through simple, fast outdoor adventure journals. The site brings together personal trip stories, activity collections, member profiles, routes, and group expeditions, making it easier to discover inspiring people, places, and outings.

Members can create journals about adventures ranging from day trips to longer journeys, and explore accounts of camping, hiking, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, cycling, skiing, snowshoeing, and other outdoor pursuits. Expeditions are group trips planned by members, with shared entries that document the experience. Visitors can browse recent journals and trips, follow members, and find ideas for their own activities. Examples on the site include canoe camping in Quebec, hikes on the Vermont Long Trail, and winter outings near Montreal. Outsideways is designed for outdoor enthusiasts who want to preserve their memories, exchange stories, and connect through a shared appreciation of time outside.
