## Description

OVCI La Nostra Famiglia ETS is an Italian voluntary organisation for international cooperation, working alongside local communities since 1982. Its mission is to promote inclusive communities and help ensure that people with disabilities have equal opportunities and can participate fully in social life. The organisation develops activities in Africa, Asia and Latin America, with operations listed in Morocco, Sudan, South Sudan, China, Brazil and Ecuador, as well as Italy.

OVCI supports care, education and inclusion pathways for children and young people with disabilities. Its work also includes training and capacity-building, such as initiatives to strengthen maternal health services in Sudan. Through projects adapted to local contexts, the organisation collaborates with communities to address needs and expand opportunities.

Individuals and businesses can support OVCI through donations, Italy’s 5x1000 tax allocation, fundraising campaigns and legacy gifts. The organisation also offers ways to get involved, including ongoing or short-term volunteering, Universal Civil Service, internships, placements, thesis projects and job applications. OVCI shares updates through its news section and newsletter.
