## Description

The Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association (OVDRA) is a professional organization focused on advancing developmental and rehabilitative neuro-optometric vision care. Its mission is to improve lives through education and board certification, supporting optometrists, vision therapists, students, residents, and associates working in these fields. OVDRA helps the public learn about vision therapy, visual skills, vision and learning, vision conditions, and signs that may indicate a need for a comprehensive examination. It also offers a doctor-locator resource to help people find a provider.

For professionals, OVDRA provides membership opportunities, certification pathways for fellows and vision therapists, continuing certification support, tutorials, grants, awards, and educational events. Its annual meetings and courses bring doctors and therapists together to share clinical knowledge and practical approaches to collaborative care. OVDRA also publishes Vision Development & Rehabilitation, a quarterly peer-reviewed journal featuring research and clinical insights, alongside research summaries, position papers, white papers, and public service announcements.
