## Description

Overworld is a technology company focused on making interactive, explorable worlds easier to create. Its tools turn ideas into environments that users can enter and explore, bridging the gap between generating an image and experiencing a virtual world. The company’s latest frontier world model, Waypoint 2, creates worlds from a text prompt or an image. Users can explore these environments locally on a PC or through streaming, with an emphasis on visual detail and stability as the world develops. Overworld is currently inviting participants to join the Waypoint 2 beta in waves, and its site features sample worlds to demonstrate what the model can produce.

Overworld also offers Terraformer, a game-creation toolset powered by Waypoint 2. Terraformer enables users to author complete first-person games from a single prompt, extending the platform from world generation into game creation. Together, Waypoint 2 and Terraformer support a creative workflow for people who want to build, customize, and explore virtual environments.
