## Description

Overdrive is a personal homebrew project that brings a browsable game library to the PS5 itself. Designed to feel familiar to console users, its interface uses controller navigation, prominent artwork, and the visual rhythm of a system store. The library covers PS4 and PS5 titles and offers a home screen featuring rotating game picks, favorites, and individual pages with artwork, details, and full-screen screenshots.

Users can browse a catalog described as containing 1,669 titles and narrow results with filters for platform, genre, features, release, and size. Each filter indicates how many games match, while options that would return no results are hidden. Artwork is fetched ahead of selection and kept on the console, helping make repeat browsing fast.

Overdrive is installed directly on a PS5 through a homebrew session, by copying its app folder to the console and registering it with ShadowMountPlus. Once installed, it appears on the home screen like a game and does not require a PC for everyday use.
