# Overgangspraktijk - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `overgangspraktijkmb.nl` ## Description Meer Balans, also known as Overgangspraktijk Meer Balans, is Monique’s menopause counselling practice, supporting women who experience symptoms during the transition to menopause. Drawing on her nursing background, training as a menopause consultant and personal experience, Monique provides information and guidance to help clients understand their symptoms and consider appropriate treatment options. Common concerns include hot flushes, night sweats, mood changes, reduced concentration and changes in sexual desire, as well as symptoms following surgery or cancer treatment. The practice offers an intake consultation to discuss symptoms and explain menopause and possible treatments, followed typically about eight weeks later by a review of the client’s plan. Consultations are available in person and online. Guidance also covers longer-term health considerations, including cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis, and Monique has experience coaching people who want to stop smoking. The practice has served clients in The Hague and offered online appointments.
