## Description

Overgenes is a health genetics company that helps individuals and healthcare professionals use genetic, microbiome and epigenetic information to support personalized prevention, health and treatment decisions. Its product range includes 19 specialized tests covering nutrition, food intolerances, sports performance, supplements, detoxification, healthy ageing, inflammation, cardiovascular health, diabetes, sarcopenia, epigenetics and intestinal microbiota. Pharmacogenetic tests examine how a person may respond to medicines, with offerings for general medication, pain, neuropsychiatry and oncology.

Overgenes combines genetic testing with its proprietary AIG (Automated Intelligence Genetics) platform, which uses scientific and clinical databases, data mining and machine learning to interpret results. Customers collect a saliva sample at home using a supplied kit, and receive a personalized report through a secure online account, typically within 20 working days after the laboratory receives the sample.

The company also supports clinics and health professionals with testing workflows, digital tools, reports and collaboration programs. Based at the Science Park of the University of Valencia, Overgenes emphasizes scientific quality and ongoing research and development.
