Over Yonder is a historic restaurant and fresh market located in the breathtaking mountains of North Carolina, specifically in Valle Crucis. Established in June 2014, it is housed in the former homestead of the Taylor Family, one of the founding families of Valle Crucis. At Over Yonder, our aim is to present classic Appalachian cuisine in a modern and approachable manner.

We pride ourselves on sourcing the finest ingredients and preparing everything from scratch—what we fondly refer to as doing it the hard and stupid way. By taking this meticulous approach, we believe you will taste the difference in our delectable dishes. Our menu features both lunch and supper options, with seasonal features that may change from time to time.

In addition, we offer an extensive drinks menu to complement your meal. Reservations can be made for dinner online (for parties of 6 or less) and for lunch by phone (only for larger parties). Outdoor seating is available and we do our best to accommodate guests without reservations.
