## Description

OVUM is an Austrian heat pump brand based in Kirchbichl, Tyrol, where its products are developed and manufactured. Founded on heat pump development experience dating back to 1993, the company focuses on efficient, quiet and intelligent heating systems using the natural refrigerant R290 (propane). Its range includes AirCube air-source heat pumps, designed for new builds and renovations, and CUBIC brine heat pumps, a modular, stackable system intended for straightforward indoor installation. CubeTank combines nine functions in one compact storage unit, while the MIRA operating system connects and controls system components, using factors such as weather forecasts and photovoltaic output to optimize energy use. OVUM reports that the AirCube achieved a SCOP above 6 in independent testing in 2022. The company also provides system documentation, technical support and access to a network of authorized partners who offer consultation, planning, installation and maintenance. OVUM’s integrated approach brings the heat pump, storage and controller together as a coordinated solution, with products tested before shipment for quality and dependable operation.
