Oxidean Marine is a renowned brand founded by Bill Oxidean, a world champion fast electric RC boat racer and also a racer in the National Jet Boat Association. Curious about how someone with such experience and success ventured into the thrilling hobby/sport of RC? Let us tell you the intriguing story behind it. It all began in San Leandro, California, when a 5-year-old Bill eagerly awaited his father's return with an impressive Gemco bag containing a futuristic land buggy called Firefox. This first encounter with cutting-edge RC technology captivated him, and his obsession with RC cars, slot cars, and model rocketry grew.
