## Description

Özgür Yayınları, a reputable brand in the publishing industry, offers a diverse range of quality products and services. Established in 1969 by Refik ULU, the company expanded its operations to include both distribution and publishing in 1982. Although Refik ULU passed away in 1995, his brother Erol ULU took over and propelled the company to new heights. Erol ULU's dedication to publishing led to the release of hundreds of translated and original works, cementing the brand's success. However, due to health issues in 2019 and the subsequent economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Erol ULU handed over the reins of the beloved company to new owners, starting in 2022. The new owners, Doç. Dr. Mehmet Fatih BUĞAN and Dr. Emre ÖZTOSUN, joined forces to expand the Özgür Yayınları brand, including academic publications in their already rich portfolio. With the aim of growing the brand, Özgür Yayınları has published over 500 works, encompassing various genres such as novels, stories, poems, children's health and development, special education, Turkish classics, hobby books, and numerous academic texts. Notably, the brand's publications are cataloged in university libraries that rank globally within the top 500, as recognized by the Higher Education Council. Furthermore, Özgür Yayınları has exceeded the requirements for academic recognition in terms of their publications in the A1, A2, and A4 fields, as per the academic incentive allowance regulations. Additionally, their publications meet the criteria for the titles of Recognized International Publisher in several fundamental areas, based on the criteria for associate professorship applications. To further establish their credibility, evidence of their works and links to foreign university libraries can be found in the international publisher certificate file. With a commitment to providing valuable knowledge and innovative content, Özgür Yayınları continues to make significant contributions to the academic and literary world.
