## Description

P99 Gear Planner is a free, open-source fan project that helps Project 1999 EverQuest players explore equipment and plan character builds. Its item database covers the classic era through Velious, with search and filters for item name, class, slot, and level. Players can review item statistics, effects, and slot suitability while comparing potential upgrades.

The gear planner supports all 21 equipment slots and calculates live totals for armor class, hit points, mana, resistances, and attributes, taking a character’s class, race, and level base statistics into account. Users can also plan carried inventory or import equipment directly from the game. Builds can be saved to the cloud and shared through links; public character roster pages include rich previews for sharing on Discord. The service is available without sign-up or passwords.
