## Description

PaardenChiro is the animal chiropractic practice of Gertjan van Koert, who works with horses, dogs and other four-legged animals. With more than 20 years of chiropractic experience and training in veterinary chiropractic, Gertjan focuses on the spine, musculoskeletal system and their relationship to the nervous system. His approach uses specific corrections and the Gonstead technique, with an individual treatment plan tailored to each animal.

The practice aims to ease pain, restore natural movement and support animals’ everyday wellbeing and performance. Treatment may be considered for issues such as reduced mobility, recurring injuries, changes in behaviour or difficulty performing. The process begins with an intake about the animal’s symptoms, general health and medical history, followed by an examination and discussion of findings. Plans may include corrective care, stabilisation and optional maintenance or prevention. If a problem appears to have another cause, Gertjan can refer the owner to an appropriate specialist.

Due to a recent change in regulations concerning animal treatments, PaardenChiro has temporarily suspended its treatments.
