## Description

Paarden Wegen op Locatie provides convenient mobile weighing and measurement services for horses at stables and riding facilities. Founded by Dionne Akerboom, who has more than 25 years of experience with horses, the service has operated since 2021 and has worked at more than 100 locations. Dionne brings a personal understanding of equine weight management, informed by caring for her own horse.

During a visit, each horse is introduced calmly to a rubber-matted mobile scale and weighed. Dionne then measures its height at the withers using a laser and assesses its Body Condition Score (BCS) by observing and feeling key areas, including the neck, body and hindquarters. This assessment helps owners understand whether a horse is underweight, at a healthy weight or overweight, beyond what weight alone can show. The combined service costs €10 per horse, with a minimum booking of seven horses.

Visits are available in South Holland, North Holland and Utrecht; other areas may be possible by arrangement, with travel costs applicable.
