## Description

The Prince Albert Angling Society, established in 1954 by a group of friends in Macclesfield, Cheshire, has evolved into one of Europe's largest and most successful angling clubs. With over 200 waters spanning from the Scottish Border to the River Wye, the society offers diverse fishing opportunities for enthusiasts of all levels. Members can enjoy coarse fishing in well-stocked lakes and rivers, targeting specimens such as carp over 35lbs, pike, barbel, and chub.

For game anglers, the society provides access to pristine reservoirs and rivers renowned for salmon fishing, all within breathtaking English and Welsh landscapes. Membership benefits include a comprehensive Map Book and Guide detailing all fishing locations, a biannual magazine, and an interactive Internet Forum fostering community among anglers.

The society hosts regular meetings, an annual Open Day with demonstrations and trade stands, and is always on the lookout for new waters to manage. Join the Prince Albert Angling Society and dive into a rich angling heritage while preserving the sport for future generations.
