## Description

The Pacific Outpost of the 501st Legion, the Hawaii chapter of Lucasfilm's preferred Star Wars Imperial costuming group, invites fans to join a vibrant community dedicated to the art of costuming. With a motto that embodies their spirit—“Why only collect action figures when you can be one”—this passionate group not only celebrates the Star Wars legacy but also actively contributes to charitable efforts. As a non-profit organization, the Legion's members volunteer their time, resources, and talent to assist various charities, including the Maui Strong Fund and Toys for Tots.

Operating in Hawaii, Guam, and Tahiti, the Pacific Outpost organizes events that align with their mission of promoting Star Wars and making a positive impact in their communities. Whether hosting appearances at local events or fundraising for worthy causes, they embody the spirit of Bad Guys Doing Good. By sharing their love for Star Wars through costuming and community service, the 501st Legion demonstrates that fandom can be a force for good.
