# Pacific Rim Foundation - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `pacificrimfoundation.org` ## Description The Pacific Rim Foundation’s Dick Close Scholarship Fund supports students from the West Coast of British Columbia as they pursue education and career goals beyond secondary school. Its purpose is to encourage students and their families to plan for post-secondary study and to help make that study possible when financial resources are limited. The scholarship is intended to be inclusive of all students at Ucluelet Secondary School, provided the student and family have lived on the West Coast for at least two years and the successful applicant goes on to post-secondary education. Eligible paths may include studies in the arts, trades, technical programs, business, college, or university. The Foundation emphasizes raising awareness of the opportunity early in students’ schooling. The annual award has recognized recipients from 2009 through 2023, including Koyah Morgan-Banke, the 2023 recipient. The website shares recipient histories and application information, and directs applicants with questions about eligibility or technical assistance to contact Jason Sam at the Clayoquot Biosphere Trust. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Grants Scholarships and Financial Aid _(under Science and Education)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idFIrhwU_d/w/328/h/66/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793530414796) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Gray | #818181 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Dodger Blue | #3374ff | light | ## Fonts - proxima — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
