## Description

PAEC Foundation, established in May 1994 under the Charitable Endowments Act of 1890, is dedicated to the welfare of serving and retired employees of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) and their families. The foundation aims to enhance their quality of life through various initiatives in agriculture, healthcare, housing, education, and vocational training. By providing financial support in the form of grants, scholarships, stipends, and interest-free loans, PAEC Foundation strives to empower its members.

The foundation offers an array of services, including mobile dispensaries that deliver free medical consultations and medications to underserved areas, and vocational training centers (Hunargah) that equip women with essential skills in areas such as sewing and cooking. Furthermore, it operates educational institutions that provide quality, no-cost education to children of PAEC employees and local communities. The Centers for Retired Employees Welfare facilitate discussions and problem-solving for retirees, while various welfare schemes, such as marriage grants and educational stipends, further support their beneficiaries.
