## Description

Pages Bookshop is a neighborhood bookstore in Detroit, founded in 2015 to offer readers of all ages a welcoming place to discover stories that inspire, challenge, and connect. Known for thoughtful curation and a cozy atmosphere, the shop supports local authors and schools while bringing people together around books and community. In 2025, Pages entered a new chapter under new ownership, guided by its “Pages AND, not Pages BUT” philosophy and renewed focus on connection. It describes itself as a proudly youth-led bookstore and a cooperative partnership between The Steen Foundation, The Hershekissis, and the Black Marriage Movement.

Customers can browse in person or order books and e-books online through Bookshop.org, with purchases supporting Pages. The shop also directs readers to audiobooks through Libro.fm. Beyond its shelves, Pages hosts author talks and offers a place for people to gather, browse, and engage with the local community. Located at 19560 Grand River Avenue, Pages is open Wednesday through Saturday, from noon to 6 p.m.
