## Description

PAINTBUCKET GAMES, the Berlin-based indie studio established in 2018 by former AAA developers Jörg Friedrich and Sebastian St. Schulz, is dedicated to creating impactful video games with compelling narratives. Their debut game, THROUGH THE DARKEST OF TIMES, received multiple awards in 2020 for its portrayal of a civilian resistance group in Nazi-era Germany. Currently, the studio is working on the sequel, THE DARKEST FILES, exploring legal investigations of post-war NS crimes. Additionally, they released BEHOLDER 3 and FORCED ABROAD in early 2022. PAINTBUCKET GAMES' focus on social issues is evident in their games, which address racism, antisemitism, and discrimination with historical and political accuracy. As a part of the "Saftladen" collective in Berlin, they collaborate with other game development studios to enhance production quality while maintaining a humane work environment. The studio also offers game development services for museums and educational institutions seeking interactive solutions to present their content effectively. Join their mission to make a difference through gaming.
