## Description

Pairbase is an independent project on Solana that provides an on-chain marketplace for creating and trading unusual asset pairs. Its platform lets users launch tokens, seed token-to-SOL liquidity pools, explore live markets, and trade or inspect assets. Users can also supply both assets to a pool and earn fees when swaps pass through it, or support shared quote routes that connect multiple markets. Every Pairbase asset is paired with SOL, enabling token-to-token trades through two SOL-based swaps and compatibility with tools that support the Uniswap V2 interface.

Creators can choose a backed launch option, locking SOL in a vault so holders can redeem tokens for a pro-rata share; standard launches do not include this redemption floor. Pairbase’s open Solana smart contracts include a factory, constant-product pools, router, and launchpad, with transactions signed through users’ wallets. The platform also offers documentation, synthetic assets, and a testnet option for trying the system with test SOL. Liquidity provision involves exposure to both pool assets, and trading carries risk.
