## Description

Paixnidi is a psychopedagogical center in Nea Ionia, Greece, supporting children’s development through therapeutic, educational and family-focused services. Its approach recognizes play as an important way for children to learn, express emotions, build confidence and develop social skills. The center offers speech therapy to address communication, speech and language difficulties, and occupational therapy to help children develop practical and developmental skills through structured activities. Learning support is available for challenges such as reading, written expression, spelling and mathematics, alongside special education and psychotherapy.

Additional services include parent counseling, peer groups, feeding therapy, and interventions at home and school. Paixnidi also provides programs relating to autism spectrum disorders, selective mutism, adolescents’ after-school activities and semi-independent living, as well as the CYGNET program, a LEGO-based therapy club and the Tomatis method. The center shares information through its blog and works with families to support children’s needs across everyday environments. It operates at two locations in Nea Ionia, near Pefkakia station.
