## Description

P.A.-L.A.R.A.B.A. ODV is a volunteer public-assistance organization based in Apice, in the Province of Benevento, Italy. Its name stands for Pubblica Assistenza – Libera Associazione Radio Amatori Benevento Apice, reflecting its community-assistance and radio-amateur identity. The organization is involved in civil protection and ambulance services, supporting local preparedness and assistance needs. Its activities include first-aid training, and it promotes the use of donations to strengthen public-assistance services through equipment and materials such as ambulances, defibrillators, water pumps and personal protective equipment.

Palaraba has also taken part in humanitarian support efforts, including aid for people displaced by the war in Ukraine and for Afghan refugees. The association invites supporters to contribute through Italy’s five-per-thousand tax donation scheme, explaining that these funds help renew vehicles, improve services and develop activities and organization. It maintains its legal headquarters in Apice and a branch in San Martino Sannita. Through its courses, emergency-related work and humanitarian initiatives, Palaraba serves communities in the Benevento area.
