Palazzo Giunta Porta Marina is a bed and breakfast in the heart of Ortigia, the historic island of Syracuse, Sicily. Set in an elegant late-18th-century palazzo beside the Spanish walls of Porta Marina, the property overlooks the sea at Porto Grande and places guests within walking distance of the island’s main sights. Its five individually designed rooms combine Sicilian antique furnishings with contemporary Italian design, including pieces by Kartell. Accommodation includes two Standard rooms, two Superior rooms with sea views, and a suite with a private sea-view terrace, suited to both short and extended stays.

Breakfast is a thoughtfully prepared vegetarian experience, made by a private cook with organic, locally sourced seasonal ingredients, ancient Sicilian grains, and no refined sugar. Homemade breads, including sourdough varieties, are part of the offering. The small team welcomes guests and shares recommendations for places to visit and local restaurants. A parking area opposite the bed and breakfast adds convenience for visitors arriving by car.
