## Description

Palevsky: A Genealogical Study is a community-supported project dedicated to researching the history and family connections of people with the Palevsky surname. The website brings together family trees, historical clues and DNA-group information to help relatives explore their ancestry and contribute to a shared record. Its research focuses especially on families associated with the Kobrin region of present-day Belarus, while recognizing Palevsky families living across the United States, Israel, England, Canada, Argentina, Russia and elsewhere. The project documents spelling variations and alternate surnames, and lists towns of origin to help visitors identify possible connections. Visitors can browse collected family trees, search the site, view updates and featured photographs, and contact the project with information about their ancestors or previously unlisted families. Free registration may provide access to additional information about a family branch beyond what is available publicly. The organizers invite contributions because even a small genealogical clue may help establish relationships among families whose shared ancestry has not yet been proven.
