## Description

Palgrave Tennis Club (PTC) is a community tennis club in Palgrave, Ontario, offering members seasonal access to four hard-surfaced, lighted courts from May to October. Its distinctive clubhouse is a historic log building dating to around 1840, relocated from Black Creek Pioneer Village and used by the club since the early 1980s. PTC supports players of different ages and abilities through lessons, youth and adult programs, summer camps, tournaments, and interclub competition. Offerings include after-school programs, adult and child doubles events, youth tournaments, and adult Cardio Tennis, which combines drills, ball feeding, and interval-style exercise. A high-performance camp is also available for dedicated players aged 11 to 16 seeking to develop competitive skills. The club’s coaches and volunteers help bring tennis to local students through a partnership with Palgrave Public School. PTC also organizes opportunities for young members to experience professional tennis events. With recreational play, instruction, and community activities, Palgrave Tennis Club provides a welcoming setting for enjoying and developing the game.
