## Description

Palma is an Italian restaurant and event space in New York City’s West Village, located at 28 Cornelia Street. Opened in 2001 by Palma and her husband, Pierre, the restaurant is built around a warm, family-style approach to hospitality. Its setting evokes an Italian villa, with connected rooms arranged around a courtyard garden filled with ivy and flowers. Palma welcomes guests to enjoy good food and wine in a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere.

The menu features fresh, farm-sourced dishes, including housemade pastas, seafood, and seasonal produce. Ingredients come from organic and biodynamic farms and local open-air farmers’ markets. Palma has grown independently over the years while retaining the personal character at the heart of its dining experience; the founders’ eldest daughter, Chloerose, is now a partner.

Beyond dining, Palma offers its rooms for private events and provides classes, gift cards, and reservations. The restaurant also invites visitors to join its mailing list for updates, and its website promotes Palma Provisions as coming soon.
