## Description

Sefton Park Palm House is a brand that holds a significant place in Liverpool's heritage. Originally opened to the public in 1896 as the city's 'Great Conservatory,' it quickly became a popular visitor attraction. Gifted to Liverpool by benefactor Henry Yates Thompson, this iconic building allowed residents to experience the wonders of exotic plants from around the world. Despite falling into disrepair in the 1990s, the Palm House underwent a multi-million pound restoration and reopened in 2001 as a vibrant arts and cultural venue. Managed by the Sefton Park Palm House Preservation Trust, a registered charity, the Palm House offers a range of services to the community. They host private events, weddings, corporate gatherings, and filming projects. In addition to generating income from these activities, the trust relies on donations and grants to fund their free community events. Visitors can explore the botanical wonders of the Palm House and support its preservation through becoming a friend, making a donation, or volunteering. With a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, Sefton Park Palm House continues to captivate visitors with its stunning architecture and rich history.
