Palombar is a non-profit environmental organization called Palombar - Conservação da Natureza e do Património Rural, established in 2000. Their mission is to conserve biodiversity, wild, forest, and agricultural ecosystems, as well as to preserve rural built heritage and traditional construction techniques.
