## Description

Pamodzi Creatives is a community-focused organisation that uses creativity and storytelling to bring people together, celebrate inspirational stories, and challenge social inequalities. Rooted in the African philosophy of Ubuntu—“I am because we are”—its work centres on shared humanity, mutual care, and collective growth. The organisation creates inclusive spaces where individuals and communities can connect, express themselves, and support one another.

Its initiatives include the Pamodzi Inspirational Women of Portsmouth Awards, which recognises local women and also raises funds for Haven Women’s Drop In Centre. Pamodzi Creatives also offers youth engagement and creative opportunities, including experiences that help young people develop confidence, teamwork, time management, and artistic skills. Its activities extend to celebrating cultural diversity and sharing personal stories through creative projects and events.

Alongside in-person events and programmes, Pamodzi Creatives connects with its community through media, including videos, podcasts, and Patreon content. Through these services and initiatives, it promotes belonging, creativity, recognition, and a more equal and supportive society.
