Its featured program, held in Girne, Cyprus, brings together academic experts, healthcare professionals, law-enforcement representatives, and public-sector leaders for discussions on policy, prevention, treatment, and coordination. The initiative’s panel topics include drug supply reduction, addiction and infectious disease prevention, psychoactive-substance testing, wastewater analysis, treatment options, risk factors, social services, and psychosocial interventions. In collaboration with Ankara University, the program also offers a university-approved, 12-hour special training course led by specialists in psychiatry, clinical psychology, forensic toxicology, addiction, and related fields. The website provides event schedules, speaker information, registration details, and venue information for participants. It also promotes a subsequent conference in Antalya, inviting presenters to submit abstracts. By bringing multiple disciplines together, the initiative provides a forum for sharing expertise and considering practical strategies to address substance use and its effects in Northern Cyprus and beyond. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Addictions _(under Health)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Education _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/KKTCBasbakanlikUyusturucuileMucadeleKomisyonu) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/academics-institute) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id-ZgDZDGW/w/128/h/128/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790492162824) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id-ZgDZDGW/w/1000/h/1000/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790492163165) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Sorrell Brown | #d0ba8e | accent | | Mine Shaft | #383838 | dark | | Radical Red | #ff2d55 | light | ## Fonts - Poppins — asset _(google)_ - Work Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
