## Description

Pangeadysten is a Danish initiative that brings together pupils through mathematics, presenting the subject as a shared language that can connect children across geography, backgrounds and different levels of ability. Inspired by Pangea, the ancient supercontinent, the organization uses the idea of a common ground to encourage pupils to learn together, enjoy mathematical challenges and build friendships. It also aims to recognize and reward students whose mathematical talent and effort help them stand out and inspire others.

The initiative organizes an annual mathematics competition, with a final event scheduled for May 23, 2027. Its website provides practical information for participants, preparation materials and downloadable assignment sheets for sixth- and seventh-grade pupils. Visitors can also explore photographs from previous finals and learn about the event’s sponsors. Pangeadysten welcomes contact from interested visitors and invites supporters to contribute through MobilePay or bank transfer. By combining competition, learning and community, the organization seeks to make mathematics engaging and to celebrate pupils’ achievements.
