## Description

Mount Panorama Punish is an annual running event organised by Bathurst Regional Council with support from a dedicated team of volunteers. First re-established in its current format in 2017, the event invites participants to complete one lap of the iconic Mount Panorama motor racing circuit on foot. The 6.2-kilometre course climbs 174 metres, turning familiar corners and straights into a challenging test of fitness and endurance, with sweeping views along the way.

The 2026 race is scheduled for 8am on Sunday, 25 October. Traffic management allows runners to take on the circuit without vehicle traffic, and strict cut-off times apply: participants must reach the checkpoint near McPhillamy Park at around the three-kilometre mark within 30 minutes and finish the full lap within 60 minutes. A bus is available for runners who miss a checkpoint cut-off. The event offers race entry, merchandise, results, news and volunteer opportunities. Recognised as Destination Event of the Year in 2017, 2019 and 2023, Mount Panorama Punish welcomes runners seeking a distinctive challenge in Bathurst.
