## Description

Panther Creek Taxidermy is a wildlife taxidermy studio in Ridge Farm, East Central Illinois, owned and operated by Amanda Weathers. The business specializes in whitetails, gameheads, and mammals, and also accepts a range of bird specimens. Services include taxidermy for deer, elk, antelope, foxes, coyotes, bobcats, squirrels, bears, upland birds, ducks, geese, and turkeys. Standing bird mounts include driftwood or rock, while flying birds come with a wall hanger; additional habitat options are available. Floor or wall pedestals and customizations may incur extra charges, and pricing is provided by phone. Panther Creek does not accept fish, reptiles, or pets, and may decline work depending on workload or the specimen’s condition. The typical turnaround for most work is approximately 12 months. Weathers studied taxidermy at Kindred Spirits School of Taxidermy and continues her professional education through conventions, competitions, seminars, and workshops. She is a member of the Illinois and National Taxidermists Associations. The studio is open by appointment; clients can call to arrange a visit.
