## Description

Papenburger Ruderclub e. V. is a rowing and canoeing club based in Papenburg, Germany, welcoming people of different ages and experience levels. Members meet several times a week, when conditions allow, to row in the harbor, develop their technique, and train. The club also organizes day trips and longer touring journeys on waterways nearby and farther afield, sometimes together with members of other clubs. Competitive rowers can take part in regattas, while beginners can learn through regular courses for children, young people, and adults, including those over 60.

Alongside rowing, the club’s canoe section supports paddling on local waters. Its activities continue throughout the year: in winter, members keep fit with indoor and ergometer training, and experienced rowers may still take to the water. The club also hosts social gatherings, seasonal events, talks, visits, and shared meals. The clubhouse and boat facilities provide a place for members to connect, including after regular Sunday rows. Papenburger Ruderclub offers an active community for recreational sport, training, competition, and companionship.
