Palo Alto Partners in Education (PiE) is an organization dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of students in the Palo Alto Unified School District (PAUSD). They achieve this by funding additional teachers, aides, and counselors to support every student in the district. PiE raises money from parents and the community to provide opportunities beyond what is possible with public funding alone.

With the support of PiE, PAUSD students benefit from 85,000 additional staff hours and the funding of 18 schools, impacting a total of 10,415 students. PiE also offers PiE Innovation Grants to promote innovative educational programs. They also believe in celebrating the achievements and positive stories happening within the district.

They invite people to submit their own bite-sized stories of good things happening at PAUSD. PiE is currently running a special Challenge Grant where gifts and pledges made by September 5th may be matched dollar-for-dollar by a pool of donations, up to a total of $500,000. To contribute to the betterment of education in Palo Alto, you can donate, make a pledge, or even volunteer.
