## Description

Papier.be is a Belgian information and awareness platform dedicated to the role of paper and cardboard in everyday life, society and the environment. It shares facts, research, news and educational content to help people understand paper’s uses and its place alongside digital communication. Its coverage includes paper as a medium for information and attention, the sensory qualities of print, the relationship between paper production and forests, recycling, the circular economy, innovation and environmental impact.

Papier.be also promotes campaigns exploring the value of paper and cardboard, including their use in packaging and in moments people want to remember, share, learn from or protect. Its publications feature interviews with professionals from forestry, packaging, recycling and related fields, explaining how used cardboard can become new raw material and how paper fibres can be reused. Through articles, newsletters, educational resources, campaigns and social media, the platform informs and engages the public on sustainability and consumer choice, including the option to choose between paper and digital formats.
