## Description

Papilio is a foundation serving people across the canton of Uri, Switzerland, with a focus on support, development and greater opportunities for children, families and adults. Its approximately 130 employees work across 19 services in care, education, therapy and social support. The organisation aims to create welcoming environments where people can grow and receive help at different stages of life.

Papilio’s services include childcare and family support, such as daycare, after-school care, foster families, parenting advice and early-childhood services. It also offers a special-needs school, educational and social-pedagogical support, and therapies including occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy, psychomotor therapy, music therapy and art therapy. Other offerings include health promotion, self-help resources and support for families navigating questions or challenges.

Based in Altdorf, Papilio brings these services together under the promise “For people. With heart. In Uri.” The foundation also shares news and events, and welcomes donations to support its work and the people it serves.
