Its workshops create a safe, welcoming space where children can explore their imagination, express themselves and build self-awareness. Many activities are designed for refugee children, including those from the Middle East and Ukraine, and are generally aimed at children aged five to thirteen. Papmor also welcomes families and children with different needs and backgrounds. The programme includes creative workshops for children, parent-and-child sessions, tailored events for adults and children, and online creative courses for small groups. Activities use engaging themes to help participants recognise their strengths, imagine their futures and explore feelings. Papmor also develops larger collaborative projects, such as cardboard models of Copenhagen, children’s exhibitions and themed installations. Workshops can be adapted to an organisation’s purpose and audience, and are designed to bring people together across languages and nationalities.
