## Description

Paradou Art Ltd is a London art business founded in 2002 by Regina Krahl, initially as Paradou Writing Ltd, specialising in research, writing and consultancy on ancient Chinese works of art. After Regina Krahl and Michael Karolus developed a shared focus on studying and collecting modern Western art, the company adopted the name Paradou Art in 2017. Today, they buy and sell fine works on paper, modern classic sculptures and distinctive works in a range of media.

The gallery’s interests centre on Western and Asian modern art rooted in a classic tradition, alongside selected ancient masters and contemporary artists. It seeks works with a distinctive personal language, high technical quality and timeless beauty. Its offerings include watercolours, drawings, etchings, lithographs and paintings, as well as sculpture. The collection highlights artists such as Giorgio Morandi, Alberto Giacometti, Ben Nicholson, Saul Steinberg and David Hockney. Paradou Art also focuses on bronze sculptures by Igor Mitoraj and features objects wrapped by Christo. The company shares its work through exhibitions, art fairs and publications.
